With an indoor swimming pool and free Wi-Fi, York House has a stunning seafront position. It is less than 400 metres from the pier, and only 20 metres from the gently sloping beach.

The Victorian Best Western York House Hotel has been family-run since 1896. Eastbourne’s shops and theatres can be reached in around 10 minutes’ walk.

Guests can relax on the sea-view terrace, and enjoy cocktails. Drinks are also offered at Verandah Bar, and good food and wine is available in the dining room.

Limited on-street car-parking in front of the hotel may be available (at an additional cost), with a discount voucher to be collected at check-in. Side street parking is unrestricted but the hotel cannot guarantee parking spaces.

Please be aware due to maintenance in the kitchen; on the 30 October there will be no food served between the hours of 11:00 - 17:00. On the 31 October there will be no food served after breakfast service at 10:00 due to maintenance. Bedroom refurbishments are currently ongoing, but noise and disruption will be kept to a minimum. Please note that this hotel has no car park and cannot guarantee nearby parking. On-street parking in front of the hotel is limited and carries an extra cost, with a GBP 1 discount redeemable at the hotel. Side street parking is unrestricted. We regret that due to the configuration of the hotel, the pool is not wheelchair accessible. Please note that lockers are not provided for swimmers. Please be aware that on 31 December 2018 the hotel will be serving food until 18:00. There will be no restaurant/bar/room service food served after this time.
