All guests need to have a moderate level of fitness as you are required to walk 5-10 minutes to your camp site, over uneven terrain uphill. Access to Mt Gold is especially steep. Mt Gold is an Adults Only campsite. Children are welcome at Wilding Pines but they must be included in the total number of guests on the reservation. Mt Gold and Wilding Pines are separate campsites, they can not be booked together to accommodate one group. Please note that when booking for 3 guests for Wilding Pines, you will have access to 1 tent only. A damage deposit of NZD 500 is required on arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property.
