The accommodation is a one-bedroom fully self-contained house with a front deck and lounge for sitting whilst looking across Lake Taupo. It is located near a new marina that is currently being built, with convenient facilities, and a new swimming beach just across the road from the property. Lake House also features a flat-screen TV and kitchen with an oven.

Lake House is a 15-minute drive from Tokaanu Thermal Pools and is 62 km from Mount Ruapehu and the Whakapapa ski fields. The area is popular for trout fishing.
