A place bathed in light, with an uninterrupted view of infinity. Granite and slate outcrops, reminiscent of the "burons". A set of buildings which is revealed a little at a time, like the countryside it nestles in. A "draille" an old herdman's path - which goes from building to building, gives a glimpse of the village of Laguiole. The restaurant forms the "roof": it floats and opens awkwards, lefting the light stream to the tables. The dining rooms is thus transformed into a theatre for a spectacular who with nature staring both outside and on the plates. The lounge is glasses in at one end so guests can enjoy a quiet smoke or a glass of rare spirits in an aerial, almost unreal setting - the atmostphere in the bedrooms below is quite different.
