Hanserhof is located in the Zillertal Valley in the quiet town of Gerlosberg, a 5-minute drive from the Zillertalarena Ski Area. After hiking to the owner’s Alpine hut, you are treated with a traditional Tyrolean dish.

Country-style apartments include a mountain-view balcony and a living area featuring a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The fully equipped kitchen has a coffee machine, dishwasher and dining area.

Year-round skiing is possible on the Hintertuxer Glacier, a 40-minute drive away. The ski bus stops outside the property. Storing and drying ski equipment can be done at Hanserhof.

You are welcomed with a local Schnapps and once during stay you are offered free coffee and cake. Breakfast is served and is made using products from the farm including milk, eggs, yoghurt and fresh bread. Freshly baked bread rolls are available on request.

Further on-site facilities include a petting zoo for kids, a children’s playground with a trampoline and table tennis, darts and table football. There are also barbecue facilities and a garden with deck chairs.

The Gerlosstein toboggan track, which is 7 km long, is a 10-minute drive away. The nearest shops can be found in Zell am Ziller while it is a 30-minute drive to the well-known Krimmler Waterfall.
