Actually, Altburg on Vasilievsky is not a hotel, but a large flat rebuilt for hotel aids. It is quite clean inside with very friendly staff, breakfast as "at mother's home". Price level is very attractive for those, who is looking for the place just to sleep one or few nights in peace and comfort. It is easy to reach as subway station ("Vassilievskaya" at 10-12 min by bus) and river Neva embankment with nice "poster" view on opposite side
Altburg on Vasilievsky is large ex-flat rebuilt for the hotel aid. It is situated on the 4-th floor of standard St-Pbg's old building. It means: forget about safe elevator? Furthermore: the house staircase is dirty, bad swelling.
